I brought this up to hatt3r the other day and I think i'll just do it, it's like 89cents per year to get the domain and I have plenty of hosting space to put up a forum.

What do you guys think?

Maybe we can turn it into something larger and still keep a little area for ourselves.

can't beleive how cheap that is! i know some domain sites wich ask 7 euros or something for a year, wich isnt expensive too but still.

We do have to set up forum software, it's alot of work to make such PHP scripts work... you can download them of google, but you still need to make it work correctly with a database... and filtering out ad's is not easy... if thats neccesary.

I would be using a forum that ASP.NET because at least I can work with that

man thats a hard pick lol... the one is shorter, but the other is oldskool wich i like. do you know of complete asp forum scripts? it'll be alot easier then building one from scratch XD... but if you are going to make one, i'll donate for the hours you put into it... Seems my paypall still works...

i would find one to download or maybe just use something like .Net Nuke

ok, since I had to make a godaddy order today, I picked up forumtrollzunited.info so I'll find something to use with it.

im going to setup an open source .net forum call yet another forum or something like that and maybe throw on .Net Nuke as a content management system for a website.
